Abrasivos Unesa Foundation
Abrasivos Unesa was founded in Hernani in 1952, in partnership with Naxos-Union from Frankfurt Am Main.
Manhattan Group
Integrated into the "Manhattan Group," it focuses on automotive clients and offers tailored solutions for each need. Flexible manufacturing is developed, reducing delivery times to 3 weeks (previously 2 months). Within the Manhattan Group, it specializes in the production of vitrified and resin-bonded abrasives, and even expands the Manhattan product range, offering a comprehensive service.
Manhattan Germany and U.S.A.
As part of the group’s international growth, in addition to the German subsidiary Manhattan GmbH, Manhattan Abrasives U.S.A. was launched as a commercial branch in the United States to provide more direct and personalized service in this market.
India, Brazil, and Italy
Several business relationships are strengthened in India, leading to the establishment of a commercial agency and technical advisory in Chennai. Similarly, another agency is set up in Brazil to provide better service to clients in the South American market. Furthermore, during this period, collaboration begins with the Italian company Siapi S.R.L.
